Carleen Mandolfo is Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible at Claremont School of Theology in California.

She received her PhD in Hebrew Bible from Emory University. Her scholarly interests include Biblical Lament Literature, Biblical Theology and the Bible and Film, areas on which she has written a number of books, articles and entries (see CV). She is the co-Chair of the Society of Biblical Literature's National Task Force on Teaching the Bible in Public Schools. She is also Director of Rockhill Institute. Administered by Claremont Lincoln University, Rockhill Institute is the educational arm of Rockhill Farm (Kern County), an organic and sustainable farm that serves to rehabilitate men who were formerly incarcerated, gang members and addicts.
