About
Professor Syeed-Miller has over 15 years of conflict resolution experience and has mediated or consulted for conflicts throughout the United States, Guam, India, Israel/Palestine, Afghanistan and Latina America. She has developed research and evaluation expertise in law enforcement/community relations, construction of gender in Islamic jurisprudence, transitional justice, faith based diplomacy, complex interreligous problem solving, violence prevention, gang intervention. She and her colleagues have developed models of mediation from a Muslim perspective.
